What is GPEAT?
GPEAT stands for the Grants Pass Energy Action Team. We are an all-volunteer community group of professionals and retired professionals from the fields of information technology, science, economics, education, engineering, and history. Many of us worked to develop the Grants Pass Sustainability and Energy Action Plan, which was adopted by the City Council in 2023.
The mission of the Grants Pass Energy Action Team (GPEAT) is to support the transition to cost-effective, efficient, clean, renewable energy throughout our region, through research, data analysis, education, and advocacy.
We celebrated Sun Day at the Grants Pass Growers’ Market on Saturday, Sept. 20 (9:00 am to 1:00 pm at 4th and F Streets in GP). Hope we saw you there!
